What is life like for a young woman growing up plus size? What lessons can be learnt when it comes to self-esteem and body confidence? How can you deal with your bullies & detractors in a positive way? Join Kayde & Priscilla for an eye-opening, inspirational talk on overcoming your social anxiety & your doubters.

Known as the "Plus-Size Fashionista", Kayde had a history of facing up to bullies, online trolls and the usual considered 'beauty norms'. Holding fast to her motto of "My Body, My Rules", she turned herself into a body-positive activist and self-love advocate to help others achieve the same empowering mindset and started a statement in our local fashion scene, founding the plus-size fashion label Kaylene in 2007.

TEDx Speaker and model Priscilla Boh have had her fair share of critics from the public and media when she first stepped out as the 1st plus-size model in Singapore. Instead of being defeated by her detractors and her own self-doubt, Priscilla focused on the beauty of her body and embraced her uniqueness; a process which eventually meant she gained real confidence and self-esteem, and ultimately learning to love herself.

Catch the beautiful pair at this inspiring talk as they speak about how to combat societal judgement and social anxiety, and embody love and acceptance.
